Fênix 70
Manufactured in Brazil by Air Service, it is an equipment of high productivity, with significantly enhanced drilling and fuel consumption ratio when compared to others of its category. It was designed in order to combine a load sensing system with hydraulic valves, eliminating the necessity of electronic controls. The simplicity of its hydraulic controls makes the use of pilot or electric valves unnecessary. The feeding hydraulic motoreducer has gradual control of speed, presenting sensitivity to work on any type of rock. The operation system is composed by a central console, which gives control of all functions of drilling, traction and positioning, dust collecting, monitoring of the Diesel engine and of air end unit. In a removable panel next to the mast, connected to the equipment by 02 electric cables instead of hoses, are located the commands of drilling, positioning and traction; and if necessary, it is possible to include the command of the rod changer. Optionally it is possible to substitute the removable panel by a wireless remote unit featuring the same commands. Robust, equipped with triple nervure traction shoes, dust collector with washable cartridge type filters and a system of oil cooling for extra-heavy services. It can be equipped with an Air Service Hydraulic Driller, model BJ515M or BJ448M and has as optional parts: extending boom, bar feeder, mechanical or electronic inclinometer and operator cabin.

Fênix 70 Junior
Fênix 70 Junior is a totally hydraulic track drill equipped unit models BJ515M ou BJ448M drifters. It can work with T38 or T45 steel, 3 or 3,60m in length. Designed and produced by Air Service, it was developed for high output with low consumption of Diesel, and meets the requirements of costumers planning to reduce their operational and maintenance costs significantly, once it doesn’t have on-board electronics. Plain and weighing 8,500 kg, FÊNIX 70 is fast and requires no special logistics

BJ442P
Crawler Rock Drill BJ442P was developed to meet the needs of mining and construction companies aiming great productivity in perforation of rocks, combining operation at low cost, easy maintenance and high performance. The knowledge and experience of more than 35 years in this area allow the engineering of Air Service to associate in the BJ442P an enterprising project with a practical, agile and robust equipment; leading to the best cost-benefit ratio of its category. The mobility of the equipment is the result of a pneumatic traction system compounded by a motoreducer with radial pistons and transmission by oil bath double chain. For position adjustment, the equipment carries hydraulic drive cylinders powered by a hydraulic unit that transforms pneumatic energy into hydraulic energy. The feeding system of the drill is provided with pneumatic engine of pistons and its command allows graduated regulation of pressure, adapting to the characteristics of the material to be perforated. The BJ442P can be equipped with one of the pneumatic drills manufactured by Air Service or with pneumatic rotator to receive DTH hammers. Optionally, the equipment is prepared to carry dust collector, dust suppressor, automatic centralizer, bar feeder and safety system.
